Medevac Helicopter Requested After Woman Ejected In Maryland Crash: Reports

A rollover crash in Maryland left at least four people with serious injuries, with one ejection from the vehicle, according to reports.

Shortly before 1 p.m. on Friday, July 8, there was a reported crash in the eastbound lanes of I-70 in the area of Exit 39 in Myersville.

Upon arrival, first responders in Frederick County reported one ejection and four additional patients who required treatment, according to a spokesperson for Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services.

The patient ejected from the vehicle was an 18-year-old woman, according to an unconfirmed report.

A helicopter was requested to the scene, officials said, and motorists were advised to avoid I-70 in the area of Myersville, where all eastbound lanes were closed.

No other information was provided by officials.
